I know this is the double we want but i thought i had to wait until my younger one was older to get it because our car seat (Orbit) doesn't fit/isn't compatible with the stroller. The other day i saw a woman with an infant in the stroller, without a carseat. She had the footrest all the way up and the baby was lying back and looked pretty comfy...I didn't know you could do this...have you put your infant in one side without a carseat? My LO is 10 weeks, my DS is 21 months. Thanks!
Re: Question re Indie twin
All the time! When she was really little (like under a month until 2 months) we used to roll up some receiving blankets and put them on either side of her, in addition to having the seat completely flat and the footrest up. DD did just fine that way!
DD was born in May and having her in the car seat to go out for walks was just too hot. She did much better laying flat in the seat. And my DS never bothered her either. He was too interested in everything else going on while we were walking! Only now do they seem to try to touch each other...and mostly it is DD who reaches over to try and grab DS's snacks
I'd try the carseat - even though it doesn't officially fit as per bumbleride - it may fit just fine. I had a graco and it only basically sat on top - it didn't click on tight or anything.
But yes - you can put an 11 weeker in there I bet. I always had the foot rest up with DD.
