  I personally like Jackson. Unusual spellings are NMS.

  I feel if you go w/Jackson some may ultimately shorten it to Jack, and if you go w/Jaxson or Jaxon some may shorten it to Jax.  If that makes a difference to you.

  Depends if you are going with a nn of Jack or Jax.  I know kids with both.  I think it should be spelled Jackson.

  If you are deadset on a "uneek" spelling...PLEASE do Jaxon--Jaxson is just too many unnecessary letters.

  As a teacher, I would definitely recommend going with the most traditional spelling of most any name.  Jackson, for sure!!
