Ellen's Mother's Day Show 2011!!

I am going to try my hardest to get onto that show this year! How fun would that be? Has anyone ever been on it or know some tips to getting picked? I have searched her website, but haven't found anything yet.

    Most people they pick seem to be going through rough times... Job loss, husband in military, etc. So if you have a great story id say you have a decent shot. I remember from the last few years they really tried to help first time Moms in need. ETA: oh and just noticed your ticker... I'm almost positive its for first time Moms only

    I am pretty sure it is for 1st time moms only. It would be awesome to be a part of that show though! It looks like so much fun every year that I watch it.

    Does anyone know if the tickets for this year's show have been given out yet?  I see from past year's message boards that most people had their tickets by mid-March.  However, I do not see any chatter indicating that tickets have been given out this year yet.

    I applied last night around 8.  I started to apply around 7:30 but struggled to find a picture small enough to upload.  I finally got the job done around 8ish.  I have not received a call yet.  Previous year's message boards indicate that they call you pretty quick.  Maybe today.  Fingers crossed!!
