First time ever in second trimester :)

Today I am officially a member of second trimester for the first time ever! I am so happy about this, and can't believe my body has let this LO do so good!

At the same time I'm still feeling a lot of anxiety, although I think most of that is coming from my RE experiences the last week and the fact that Saturday is the one-year anniversary of my first miscarriage.

On Saturday, I have a wedding to photograph so part of me hopes that I'll be so busy that day that I won't even have time to think about my six-month old little girl that should be sitting here next to me. My SIL will be photographing with me and this is her first wedding assisting so feel like I'll be so distracted making sure she gets everything right that I won't have time to grieve until the wedding is over. The weird part is, is that last year we had a doppler check scheduled for the Monday after we found out. We also have a doppler check scheduled next Monday. Talk about deja vu. If I can just make it through this weekend I think I'll feel better.

I'm so excited for you. I know you're worried and you have a big anniversary coming up which is really hard but remember, what happened in the past doesn't determine the outcome of this pregnancy. You and your baby are staying strong.

Congrats!!! I'm sure the day will fly by!! I know what you mean about the deja vu. My appointments are always scheduled for Wednesday and when Tuesday roles around (the day I found out) I always get a little nervous. I try to treat every Wednesday as one step further to my goal. It helps to put a positive spin on things!

Good luck this weekend at the wedding. That's kinda neat that your SIL is photographing with you, I hope that she provides a great distraction for you and that you make it out of your weekend okay.
