MMR side effects?

So last week my child received his MMR and last night was running a 103.0 fever with no other symptoms. Has anyone else's LO ran such a high fever a week or so after receiving the MMR? This morning he still had a fever of 101.3. I am not sure at what point to bring him in or not, I did speak with the doc last night and she said if he seems fine and playful but just has the fever it could be from the shot and to keep an eye on him. Just curious about other's experiences?

    Just came back from my appt and my pedi said next week she could shows signs of a fever, crankiness and/or rash.

    My LO just had her 15 month appt this morning.  Her doctor said that she may run a fever and get a slight rash around 7 to 14 days after she gets the shot and that the fever can be high.

    One of my girls had a reaction.  Two days of fever (although it never got as high as 103--it was 100-101) followed by three days of rash.  She was a little bit cranky, but nothing too bad.  I just gave her Tylenol to keep her fever down and to minimize any discomfort from the rash.  Just make sure you let your doc know if the rash does show up--they most likely won't need to see you or anything, but they will want to know about it.
