Darker than usual!

Thanks to the wonderful world of pregnancy, the blonde peach fuzz around my belly button is turning a little darker and i feel like a wooly mammoth!  My resolution: Smooth Away...I don't know what else to do.  My DH had barely any hair on his chest/belly area, so if i out-hair him, I will be mortified! 

Anyone else with this lovely issue?!!?!  For the record, I'm not "beastly", but it's still darker than my skin and I feel manlier than DH!

    Yes! It's so gross! I hate it. I was told to not do anything about it and it would go away a few months after the baby is born. I was also told that it was a sign of having a baby girl- Found out last Friday, we're having a baby GIRL!!! :D

    Good to know it's a sign of a baby girl. I guess that at least gives me some peace of mind. Seriously, I'm getting quite furry with this pregnancy.

    I won't even take any belly pictures with my shirt up! Maybe towards the end, I'll do some from FAR AWAY! lol

    It's just one of those things that effect some people during pregnancy. Somehow, I have all of the plauges. I'm seriously the 1% that has everything! ;)

    I am having the same problem, the doc said that it was due to hormones and the pre-natal vitamin I'm taking...def not a sign of a girl as I'm having a boy. Also I was told to leave it alone as well, if you wax/shave/nair it away it may become permanent Sad

    I know most myths of boy vs. girl aren't true. No worries. I was sorta fuzzy before, so with pregnancy, I'm pretty sure I could cut my hair short and pretend to be a man with a beer gut.

    Ew, I have it, too.  It's not horrible, but I do pluck some of the hairs that have been coming in darker.  :/  Same as pp, what's Smooth Away?

    they sell it at bed, bath, and beyond..it's a pink rubber thing with a crystal patch you put on there and rub it around in circles...it does a great job and my skin is so smooth..i used it on my arms (i'm irish...argh) and it worked well...

    Hmm...I may have to break down! I just noticed mine about 2 weeks ago. The hair is a little dark, but it's super fine. I wonder if this would work. It's kind of freaking me out a little.

    I'm not sure.. yesterday I thought it may be getting a little darker but today it looks okay.  I sure hope it doesn't get darker because it sure has gotten thicker and longer! I am so fuzzy on my belly!

    OMG I didn't hear that it was a sign of a baby girl.  Who knew???  I have it too.  DH teases me, but I just ignore it.  He has much more hair on his body than me :)

    The peach fuzz on my belly isn't getting darker, but I definitely have more of it than usual. A few weeks ago I DH and I were brushing our teeth before bed and he commented "wow, your belly is getting hairy!".

    Geeze I thought it was all in my head! Lol, mine was like a light brown PP but now it's really dark and seems longer:-/ I was just thinking its cause I haven't gotten any sun, so mu skin is lighter than normal, kinda like an optical illusion lol! But if its happening to you all, the it's probably not in my head. I think when I give myself my first bikini wax I'm gonna wax it off...
