Just another tip from a 2nd time mom. I was just working in the nursery and remembered this. I have something similar to this hanging on the inside of the hamper. https://www.amazon.com/Whirlpool-W10180464RP-2-Inch-Delicates-Laundry/dp/B002R0DXOQ/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1301409954&sr=8-3
I put all the baby socks and bibs in it before washing them. That way I don't lose the tiny socks, and it also makes sure the velcro from bibs doesn't snag anything else.
Re: Laundry tip
Ha! Great tip! I will look into getting one of these.
Great idea-thank you! It's hard enough keeping adult socks together.
While we're on the laundry subject, did you/ any other second + time moms wash everything for the baby in the special detergent (Dreft/etc.)? If so, how long did you use it before you switched to regular detergent?
I did only because we received for for a gift. This time I'm using a free and clear detergent that we already have and use for our own laundry.
