Re: Rec. your body pillow.

  • I have one that I thought was good, but now, as my bump expands, I find that it's not long enough.  I'm thinking of ordering this one.

I love the snoogle.  It was well worth the price as it supports so much.  I use the longest part in front of me, but I love how it wraps around and also supports my lower back.  I bought the one with the jersey cover - so it is extra soft. It's also been really helpful because I have had a hideous cough and I can use it to help keep me propped up at night so I can breath better.  I also tried the Boppy and it didn't work as well for me - I found it kind of hard.
  • I bought mine at BB&B.. It's Laura Ashley... And only $20.. I love it because I can kind of mold it for what I need. I learned last time with DS that the bigger you get the more you need to change your pillow... So get one that isn't in a certain shape isn't beneficial the entire pregnancy. The pillow is half down, so its great for that. gL

  • I love the Snoogle....it's worth every penny
  • I love my Preggle! It is supportive but not too big. It's made by the same people that make the Snoogle but is smaller and one end has a velcro loop so you can make different shapes out of it.

  • I have a super long body pillow (not specifically for pregnancy) and I LOVE it.  I reline on my left side and put it between my knees and it does all the way past my ankles.  SO much easier than having to managing three or four pillows through out the night.

It was $10 for the pillow and $10 for the super soft zip up cover.

This. My husband bought me the snoggle when I was about 16 weeks and I haven't looked back. Super comfy, love how it wraps around and it's just soft enough. It is big, but we have a king size bed so we have the room. Hope this helps!

  • I bought the Leachco Back 'n belly pillow. It's massive but I love it. It's shaped like a horseshoe so you don't have to move the pillow when you switch sides. That was my pet peeve with a regular pillow (and I was always waking up my husband).

I haven't woken up with a back ache since I bought it.

Found it on Amazon for $60 (no shipping fees)

  • I was using a regular full body pillow which I loved, but the last couple of nights I've found the only way to get comfortable was with 2 regular pillows, one between my legs and the other under my belly and snuggled up top. I guess everyone is different and you can even change during pregnancy!

  • I like my Boppy... but there are at least 2 kinds... I like the long one that is kind of shaped like a candy cane. However, if you switch sides a lot during the night (I don't) I would say it could get to be a bit of a pain moving it back and forth... if that's the case for you I'd go w/ the Snoogle.

This pillow from Amazon is amazing:

It's great b/c you don't have to flip the pillow if you turn over.  Also, it's like sleeping in your own little cocoon.  I love it.

Note:  It does look huge, but we have a queen size bed, and it only takes up my half.

Haha, I was about to say, where is my husband going to sleep?

same here...it looks like a bean and it may even work when nursing for a quick support since it's in bed already

I also have the Snoogle. It was expensive $60 with no cover, but it is very comfy.  The only downside is how hard it is to get out of it in the middle of the night to pee...like 5 times! Also, I can't sleep on 1 side all night, I have to switch, so having to flip it while I'm half asleep can be a challenge. BUT once I get in my position...oooohhhh yyyyeeeahhhh....LOL.
