DD is 8.5m old, and was STTN beautifully until a couple of weeks ago. Pretty much the day she turned 8m, she started teething. Once that was (Thank God) over and the tooth popped through the gum, she STTN for one night before she learned how to crawl/stand/dance.
Don't get me wrong, its been a wonderful couple of weeks as DD decided to go though like EVERY milestone at the same time, but now she's so agitated at night that she keeps waking up every hour. Around about 1-2AM, she wakes up wanting to practice crawling, dancing, etc. She's WIDE AWAKE and it's IMPOSSIBLE to get her back down until 4-5AM. She then only sleeps a couple more hours.
I read somewhere something like this would happen, but I'm still concerned. She's only getting like 7hrs of sleep at night and she fights her nap during the day, so MAYBE 2hrs there. She's not getting anywhere near the 14hrs she's supposed to.
I'm sticking to her Bedtime routine, but we're all losing a LOT of sleep here. It's like she's one month old all over again!
Is/has anyone else gone through this? If so, is there anything I can do to fix it? How long does this last?
FEEDBACK!
Re: 8mo Sleep Pattern Disruption -- Normal?
There is a "Wonder Week" around that time - it's when babies learn about categories.
