Well CLEARLY I'm not voting for that last stupid idea of yours!!
But seriously, I think Santa Fe has the perfect mix for you. Tons of hiking, meandering around in BEAUTIFUL outdoors stuff. Just enough musuem/arts culture stuff to mix it up but not drown in 'educational' crap. Also, tons of B&Bs an cute little inns and great, GREAT eats!
Plus, if you want to do one nice night-on-the-town or dinner or whatever, there's enough fancy stuff there to do a 'stuffy' night as well as the laid back stuff.

Yup, I agree w/ BGP. Plus, since my parents live there, I can give you lots of recommendations for stuff 60-something retirees like to do!
BFP #1 10/17/09: missed m/c at 7 weeks; BFP #2 10/22/10: chemical pregnancy; BFP #3: 1/28/11
sevens, I will definitely hit you up for advice on what 60-somethings like to do in Santa Fe. The ovaries have been asking me for some more age-appropriate activities.
