At how many weeks did you find out the sex of your baby?

It seems that it's very different from place to place and doctor to doctor. I'm just curious! I will have a gender scan at 16 weeks.

16 weeks is usually to soon to see genitalia. I had a u/s last night for some spotting and they couldn't tell even though baby gave them a clear shot. Between 18 and 20 is normal. Also, they don't do a u/s just to find out gender. You'll have an anatomy scan and as part of that you can find out the sex if baby cooperates.

We could have found out at our 18 week anatomy scan, but we are Team Green. The doc said they were able to get a good look at the goods though

We found out in week 18. The midwife got a good shot of each baby's goods and we were able to see for ourselves that we will soon have twin boys!

13w, but we had a CVS.

I get all my u/s at a MFM at a very highly respected hospital and they basically laugh at you if you ask them to check before the AS. They are all business.

20 weeks, 1 day to be exact! My doctor insisted that I waited until I was 20 weeks because he knew we wanted to find out and the longer you wait, the better the chance of seeing what's between their legs and accuracy

Our OB is a family friend, so we found out at 16 weeks last time, and it was confirmed at our anatomy scan at 18 weeks. For this baby, they're going to do a quick scan tomorrow at my 16 week appt to see if we can see the sex, but the official anatomy scan won't be until 18 weeks.

Guessed a girl during an ultrasound at 14wk+3d --- debating on scheduling an elective u/s at 16wk to confirm or wait until my 18wk anatomy scan.

Had an unscheduled ultrasound at 13 weeks to keep an eye on an ovarian cyst I have and the ultrasound tech said boy and thought she was 100% sure. Shocked they could tell so early. Have an appointment at 17 weeks to confirm. Big Smile DH was sad he didn't go to the appointment.
