So my sister who has been watching my son had decided that she can no longer take the time to do so. I don't know what she thought it was going to be like but she cannot fit it in her schedule anymore. I'm furious but I understand it's her decision. I just wish she could have realized it waaaay before she did.
So now I need to find a suitable, respectable daycare to take my son to. I work in redmond (downtown) and live in bothell/kirkland (south bothell). I'm begging for some recommendations from you ladies here. Thank you so much!
Re: Daycare recs - urgent
We're somewhat clueless when it comes to all this since we had planned long in advance for her to watch him. I'm just so upset with this turn of events. My sister is willing to watch him till we find a replacement..within reason. I think we have a solid month, probably not more though.
Is there a childcare resource line? I wonder what people do if they have a job transfer and need to seek childcare? I'm not sure what infant care rates are right now. $1500? I'm willing to do either a center or in-home, either has to be a respected and trustworthy place though.

I don't like to post where my daughter goes to daycare out in the open but I send you a great recommendation.
Good idea, Jen. I will keep that in mind in the future.
I called Evergreen Academy a couple weeks ago about infant openings and they said January was the earliest opening.
I've alsways wondered about The Discovery Center - good to know it's recommended!
As in January 2012? Yikes.
