Babies: 6 - 9 Months

I don't know how babies do it...

I have an ear infection and I'm about ready to go insane!  Aren't ear infections supposed to be just a kid thing???

I had one a few years ago and thought I was going to die.

Maybe they aren't as bad on kids?

    Hope you feel better soon!

  • I had one during my pregnancy and I wanted to crawl into a corner and just cry. It was horrible. The worst part was burping, yawning, coughing, or anything that put pressure in the ear. The medicine could not work fast enough.

    Hope you feel better soon!!

  • I get them frequently. I usually end up with at least 5-6 a year. I get them from wind blowing around my ear when I run and no matter what I wear over my ears it doesn't help. I have a standing Rx with my doctor for ear drops.

If you have a heating pad put it next to your ear or lay on it for as long as you can. The heat should help with the swelling.
