Are you guys using the weight you were at your first appointment at like 7/8 weeks or are you using the weight you were before you got pregnant?? Just curious!
I've been going by what I was from my first appointment only because I do not know my exact weight before. I would imagine it would be either the same or marginally different. I didn't start putting weight on until the second trimester anyways.
I go by what I weighed the day I found out I was pregnant. My OB goes by what I weighed at my first appointment when I was 11.1 weeks. So they look at it as I've gained about 4-5 lbs and I know I've gained 8 since finding out.

I know this is so stupid, but the weight at my first appointment at 11 weeks, between then and now I only gained 1 pound. I did gain 4 pounds before that, technically I have a total gain of 5 pounds, but for some reason, I only count the 1 pound. Mind games, I know, stupid. Hey, my scale could have been wrong!
I use the PP weight but the doctor's use my weight at my first appointment. Pretty sure there's about a 5 pound weight difference between the two...LOL.
I keep track of my weight with my own scale and starting at what I was before I got pregnant. I keep notes from my appointments but I leave that weight gain to the OB. With DS it was pretty much consistent, since I didn't gain anything in the first weeks.
Re: so for the weight gain....
im using prepregnancy weight. I am down 13 pounds, so I better not go above where I started!!
