Day 3 follie check- help please

Hello this is my first time posting to this board after reading many of your posts and getting much help from them.  I am 28 years old and so is my DH.  We have been trying to conceive a child for the last two years.  After seeing a RE it was determined that we have MFI with my DH morphology at 4%.  I also was found not to be ovulating on my own with a day 14 estrogen of 70 and follicles at 4mm and 6mm.  I started my first IVF cycle with injections on Friday night Follistim 150u and menopur 75.  On Sunday I went in and only had 2 follicles developing in the right ovary and none in the left, my estrogen was just over 100.  The RE increased my dose to 225u on Follisitim and continued menopur 75.  Today I went in and still have 0 follicles on the left and 3 on the right.  I am waiting for a call back but I am really scared.  Has anyone ever experienced such a poor response in the beginning and had anything pick up later on?  The RE won't convert our cycle to IUI because of DH morphology.  Any advice?  Suggestions, ideas?  Thank you so much for your help and wisdom.

    Hi and Welcome to the board!  The ladies here are amazing and so supportive and helpful.  I do not have any advice for you as I only went through IUI's and am in the pre-IVF stage right now. Wanted to wish you luck!!

    Hi and welcome.  If you just started your stims on Friday, it's still super early.  I'm actually surprised they did 2 u/s on you already. I started stims Friday as well, for IVF #2, the same dosage as you.  I went in for b/w today, they reduced me to 75 follistim, and won't have my first follie check until Wednesday. That's the same protocol I had last time.  Last cycle at my first follie check I only had 4 measurable follies and went slowly, and ended up with 11 at ER.  Don't lose hope, it's too early for anything to happen yet!

    What protocol are you on?  How many days have you been on stims?

    I am assuming you have had your AMH levels tested, if not you should.  I recently attempted and IVF cylce and after 10 days of stims I only had 3 follies, and only one was mature.  I was on 450 iu of Bravelle a day.  But I was also on 40 of Lupron per day, which I recently found out that was way too much, plus I was on the completely wrong protocol for having low AMH and being a poor responder.
