Re: Cramping at 15 weeks

  • It might be growing pains in your uterus. That has been happening to me since about 14 weeks. I talked to my doctor about it, and he said it was just stretching. I dunno about the chips, though. Talk to your doctor, but I wouldn't worry if it's light cramping.

  • I had similar pains at that point, and at my appt. my OB gave me a level look and said: "Being pregnant isn't comfortable honey. Pregnancy is about pain." Now, this obviously isn't true for everyone (I know people who LOVED being pregnant and breezed through it.). Your uterus is stretching and your body is going through enormous changes. When you eat, your guts are getting squished and moved around and there's less room for everything in there. Unless you are bleeding or the pain is severe, it may just be the adjustments your body is going through to accommodate baby. Don't panic yet :)
  • I've been having a lot of pain the last couple of weeks. It's all stretching and growing and rather painful. Sounds reasonable to me, if you had any bleeding or anything, I would worry then. Or if the cramping was extreme. But in general, sounds normal to me. (Of course, call your doctor for real answers)

  • I would call you dr. because I had some cramping and it ended up being a UTI.
