I had a mother stop me and ask how I kept my DD's shoes and socks on her feet. I replied, "staples." She obviously had no sense of humor because she gave me a strange look. I then told her I was kidding, and that she just hadn't learned how to take off her new pair of shoes yet.

I completely expect to get this exact same note on my windshield some day soon. I'm surprised I haven't yet. DS takes his shoes and socks off everywhere, even if its 20 degrees outside. Glad I'm not alone!

My blood would boil especially with no one to tell off. Probably some pissy assed judgy mom.
haha I agree. It reminded me of some bumpies who get their panties in a wad when you mention LO having a taste of candy or keeping LO out past their bedtime
I have parents at school tell me this all the time. Once they even went inside and got their 3-year-olds socks and loaned them to us. I had basically stopped even bringing socks because he takes them off, but evidently I was a terrible mom who ought to have socks on her child's feet. Recently it was over 80 and I had him at school with me and I was joking with the same moms about how I should have brought socks and can I borrow some.
