Felt Baby From the Outside for the First Time!

Over the weekend, I took a nice long bath, then decided to sit in our Nursery's rocking chair to read Baby a story in the womb.  My Jack Russell Terrier decided she wanted to sit on my lap and listen (good practice!), so she laid down, put her elbow right on the left side of my uterus, and Baby pushed back hard enough that my dog jumped!  Lo and behold, I put my hand there, and felt Baby for the first time from the outside!  What a fantastic feeling.  Now I can't wait for DH to have the same experience.

    Isn't it awesome!  I've felt baby for a while now, but my DH doesn't have the patience to sit there for 20 minutes just waiting.

    Yay! I actually felt mine first on the outside but I've been feeling her inside and out lately. MH couldn't feel her yet though.

    I work with someone who said the first time her DH felt the baby he had put his head up to her stomach and the baby kicked him really hard in the face.

    I can't wait for this.  I keep touching my belly and hoping I will feel something on the outside.  :)  Is this your first?

    I haven?t felt on the outside yet, just inside my stomach. I can?t wait for my fiance to be able to feel it too, it?s such an odd feeling :-)
