I bought both and I thought I read somewhere you shouldn't take both at the same time bc the tea also contains fenugreek. Which one should I try first? Also, I'm eating oatmeal- will it help increase my daily supply or just a couple hours after I eat it? I'm trying to decide when to eat it bc I seem to run low on supply in the evenings when my baby wants to eat every hour.
TIA
Re: fenugreek or mother's milk tea?
FYI your baby wanting to eat every hour does not mean you have a low supply. Babies like to cluster feed esp in the evening. Also known as "tanking up" before sleeping for a while. Just nurse your baby as often and as long as he/she wants and your supply will regulate itself. Check out this link from kellymom.com.

Thanks..yea- he does cluster feed, but the past week, as soon as he's done eating or when I pull him off, he's screaming for more. I've been trying to pump afterwards and nothing comes out so I know he's not getting enough. One night he ate for 50 min and still acted hungry afterwards. I guess my supply just can't keep up for the cluster feeding anymore.
I'd go with the fenugreek. That is supposed to increase supply better than the tea. I've read the tea is better for keeping supply steady than increasing. Plus, I think it tastes like a$$. I was surprised to read on here the other day that some people actually liked it.
Also, just letting your son nurse will probably increase your supply in a couple of days. The beauty of supply and demand.
