Anybody used a water table on an apt balcony?

We just moved and since there is no base housing here we are in an apartment. I had asked for a first floor which I guess we have but there are people under us in a terrace level they call it. DS loves water and I think he'd enjoy a water table in the summer. I was thinking of putting a tarp down and not filling it with a ton of water.

  • This may be a stupid question, but wtf is a 'water table'?

    Sounds like a pool????

OP- F your neighbors. So what if water gets all over their stuff. It's hot and they're going to just have to deal with it, right?

But really...even if you only used a little bit of water how would you drain it?? Is there some sort of public pool you could go to instead?

Agreed.  WTF do they do when it rains?  I wouldn't worry about it and just do what you need to do.  When you have to empty it, just throw it out over the side.

A water table is like a play table (think LeapFrog activity table) but with water toys.
