Anyone Lurk On 1st Tri?

I feel like it's a different world on there...a lot of people getting accidently KU w/ their 2nd or 3rd and not being ready for it...a lot of people oblivious to things like betas and measuring correctly, etc.  Sigh - I wish!

I made the mistake of reading some spotting posts over there (seems it's common among the general non-IF population too) where someone is worried and another person comes on and says "not to freak you out but I had spotting and next thing I knew it was a m/c", etc.  Eek!

TTC in 2008. Stage II/III endo, Hashimotos hypothyroid, low morph (3%).
2 cycles Clomid/Ovidrel/TI/Crinone=BFN.
IUI #1 - 4 Follistim/Ovidrel/IUI/Crinone = BFN.
IVF #1 - Antagonist w/ ICSI 4/10. 17 retrieved, 5DT of 2, BFN :(
IVF #2 - Long Lupron w/ ICSI 6/10. 15 retrieved, 3DT of 2, BFFN!!
Lap 7/21/10
IVF #3 - Clomid/Antagonist w/ ICSI 10/10. 14 retreived, 3DT of 3, BFP 10/20 but m/c. No HB 11/15/10 - D&C 11/17/10.
FET - 2 blasts, 1 survived the thaw. Transfer 2/19. Beta #1 3/1 375, Beta #2 3/3 885, Beta #3 3/8 4261, Beta #4 3/11 9005. U/S 3/8 1 sac 1 yolk, U/S 3/16 1 heartbeat 114bpm!

 

James born Oct. 24th 2011 via c-section at 38 weeks!

    Oh that board is a nightmare! And yes, the spotting posts toally freaked me out, too. People are not always so kind over there...

    I took a look over there and came running back here.
    DS born 10/2008 TTC #2 since 8/2009 MFI and natural killer cell activation diagnosis IVF #4 = BFP!! Due 10/12!!

    I rarely go on the Tri boards.  I just feel a different level of maturity there.

    I think on that board they don't know the saying "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all!"  The 2nd and 3rd tri board get better because they don't have the "Oops, I'm KU" and the "Do you think I'm KU" posts every 5 seconds.

    OMG I couldn't stop myself on the pit bull post! Don't even get me started on people ignorance towards them. But no I stay here and PGAIF!

    There was one where one girl said she had cramping on one said and someone chimed in and said "Not to freak you out but my SIL's sister had that and next thing she knew she passed out and it turns out she had an ectopic pregnancy and ruptured a tube."Indifferent  GREAT!  Bet that girl feels a LOT better now!

    When I first wanted to transfer over after BFP, I lurked on that board and found that it wasnt for me. Seemed a little weird and especially the process and agony we went through with IF, I didnt want to hear boohoo stories of unresponsible KU's. Glad you girls are here. I also post on Novemeber 2011 board and love those ladies too.

    I agree - I'll sometimes lurk but most posters have no problem getting pg so they're just in such a different place it's hard to relate.

    I can't handle that board.  The complaining about things you are going to miss while being pregnant, the cavalier attitude.  Ugh!  I would be lost without this board!!
