2nd Trimester

can't seem to get comfortable

I was sitting down in a chair bending forward to work on something on the floor this morning and ever since then I'm having a ridiculously hard time getting comfortable while sitting down. It feels like mild round ligament pain, but it's super annoying. The only thing that's helping is walking around, unfortunately, I have a desk job.

Did I push my uterus into a weird position or something? this little bump is brand new to me, so I'm still not sure what the rules are, apparently leaning forward in a chair is definitely a no-no.

Re: can't seem to get comfortable

  • It is normal.  It is the start of many aches, pains, and being uncomfortable.  Just wait until you get close 2 30 weeks!  Everything such as painting your toenails, getting up off furniture, putting your shoes on, and anything that involves bending over gets really complicated and uncomfortable.

  • I have to be really careful not getting up too fast.  Or I get "stuck" and can't stand up straight for a moment.  It catches in my abdomen and takes a moment to relax.

  • Unless you are having some serious pain, you should be OK. A little stretching is normal. Carrying around extra weight isn't always easy.
