So I got my BFP March 22nd (at 15 DPO) using two seperate tests.
I went to my Dr. and took a urine sample to the lab on Thursday afternoon.
I took another at home pregnancy test Friday (just for kicks) that resulted in an even darker BFP than before.
I got my urine sample results back from the doctor and it was NEGATIVE!
How is this possible? Especially since I POAS a day after I gave that sample and it was a BFP!
I still have all my symptoms - Sore breats, tired, queasy and headaches on and off, emotional, no period (or even spotting for that matter)...
I went and did a blood test this afternoon and should get the results tomorrow. I am so confused and upset right now I don't know what to do with myself
Re: Has this happened to anyone else? I am so confused!
You've got 3 positive tests at home (false positives are extremely rare). The doctor's urine test is no different than the one you use at home. Could be a lab error, or maybe your urine was too diluted when you gave your sample at the dr office.
I'd think that you're probably pregnant, but the blood test (most accurate) will prove for sure!
This didn't happen to me, but just wanted to say sorry you're having to deal with all this. Hope it all turns out ok!
I do have a friend who tested BFN on a home EPT. Two of them. And then she did the blood test at the dr's office and sure enough, she was pg!
GL and hang in there!

This happened to me. My beta was just too low when I peed on the test at the doctor's that it didn't register. Tests like FRER are more sensitive than the doctor's office tests.
My beta the day I went into the doctor's was only 42, so I was pretty early on.
I hope everything works out well. I havent had this happen, but I have had a dr office mess up my test results. Good Luck!
Please be sure to update us on the blood test tomorrow.

This.
That is why it is recommended that you use first morning urine early in pregnancy. As you drink more and more throughout the day your urine will become more and more dilute.
Same thing happened to me. I had 3 positive HPT's and then a negative from the doc's office. Because of the 3 positive HPT's they ordered a blood draw. My hcg was only 42, which is why it was negative at the docs. I believe there tests test a level of 50 or greater. Keep your head, it is still very possible you're preggers, especially since you're not experiencing any spotting or cramping.
Good luck!!!
