2nd Trimester

Where do you feel movement?

Where on your belly are you feeling the movement?  Explain.

I went from feeling the baby the last two weeks all over the place - mainly on the left side right under bellybutton to now really feeling the baby only near my waistline.  Is this normal to have drastic changes in the movement?  I do keep feeling little jabs or kicks which I think if I kept my hand on my belly I'd feel them on the outside now (but they are soft).

Re: Where do you feel movement?

  • Really it depends on my position more than anything. When Im sitting or standing I feel her lower, just above the pubic bone (I can feel her using my bladder as a trampoline). If Im lying in be or on the couch I feel her more to the side Im lying on. So she'll concentrate on the left, but she's big enough that I feel her across my middle (bellybutton). And sometimes I honestly think she just splays all her limbs out in every direction...

  • At first I was just feeling her across my belly under my belly button.  Yesterday I started feeling her around my belly button if not a little higher.  I think she's moving up.  Feeling them in different places is normal from what I've heard.

  • I feel him everywere..sometimes low and sometimes high..

  • I just started to feel movement and it's very low.
  • At this stage in the game, I believe I was feeling Riley pretty low.  And they were pretty random at that.  It's totally differnt for every baby because I was feeling Riley around 16 weeks and I havent felt this baby yet so who knows!

  • Depends on my position.  When I'm sitting straight, the movement is usually below my belly button.  When I'm reclined or laying down, it's kind of all over the place...sometimes high, sometimes low.  I think the baby probably has more range of motion when I'm in that position, so the movements scatter more.

  • I tend to feel mine below my belly button.  I haven't felt anything above that yet.  I think thats pretty normal though.  It definitely moves from side to side though depending on what I'm doing, etc.

  • I've been feeling movement on my right side for the most part but some times near my belly button. This baby is moving so much more then Logan ever did this early on. I think it's pretty normal to feel them move in a different location as the weeks progress. Lots of changes as they grow!

  • I feel little bumps just about my belly button. I can?t feel them with my hand and I can?t see them either. At the moment I can just feel them inside my belly
  • In 3 days, I will be 20 weeks along.  I have been feeling DD movements very low in my abdomen, closer to my pelvic bone area versus up near my belly button.  The movements are little "flutters" that occur randomly throughout the day.  Although in the morning, just after I wake up, I feel lots of movement and stronger pressure in my abdomen - it's almost like DD is turning all the way around in there!
