I set up our new pack n play that I got at my baby shower and came down this morning to find that someone has found a new bed...going to have to nip this in the bud!

Re: Someone likes the new pack n play
Whoops!
That is too cute.
We put sheets of tin foil in the pack n play and crib to keep kitty out.

Haha so funny.
I was unpacking stuff this weekend and when I moved a tub of baby clothes I heard a mew. The lid was halfway off and my lil Meko had curled up on the baby clothes and made herself quite comfy. Im glad I hadnt washed all those yet! I know she will be all about the crib once I set it up so the nursery door will more than likely remain closed.
Too cute!
This is exactly why I haven't set ours up yet. We have 3 cats, so it would be consumed in about 10 minutes... Ha ha!
love it!
one of my cats was hanging out in the changing pad and DH proceeded to pretend to pretend to "change his diaper"...I took a pic but then was sworn never to post it anywhere!
We haven't bought the pack n play yet but one of the cats rolled all over the fitted crib sheets as soon as I brought them upstairs. She has never gotten into laundry before. Shed all over them.
There is foil in the crib and it works great.
I feel you! Mine is obsessed with the crib.

I put together the bouncer/chair and left it on the floor to see what happened... It's been a week now and not a single cat (of 3) has show any interest in it.
I thought the car seat/carrier would also draw attention... over a week on that one too and nada.
I think they know what's coming and are very afraid!
Tin foil works! As soon as I put the crib bedding in, my cat curled up in the crib. I kept kicking her out and she kept sneaking back in, so I put the tin foil in the crib and within 2 minutes I hear her land on the tin foil, I go in the room and find her teetering on the crib rail. She looked freaked out and then saw me and jumped down. I left the tin foil in for a week and have had it out for a few days, but she hasn't even tried to jump back in.
