A question for the c-section mama's....

I had my son on March 17 - 11 days ago. I am still bleeding vaginally. It's not super heavy, but it hasn't let up at all. How long after delivery are you supposed to bleed??

I'll be 4weeks pp this Thursday and I'm still very lightly bleeding. Not sure what the "norm" is, but my doctor said anywhere from 4-6 weeks.

Usually 4 weeks but can be up to 6 weeks. I was worried too until I read this book:

My babe was born on the 10th and I am still bleeding. It isnt heavy anymore but still going. As mention by PP my MW said about 4-6 weeks also.

i had her on the 4th and just barely stopped bleeding yesterday.

I had really heavy bleeding/clots until day 5, then it tapered down to a regular period-like flow until 14 days PP. Now I'm at 23 days, and it's just a little light pink/brown on the toilet paper from time to time. Everyone is different.

Mine was the same as yours, March 17th, and immediately following the surgery for the first 4 days, it was super light, then next to nothing for another 3 or 4 days, and now it's much heavier, but mainly just after feedings!
