I'm wondering if my body is just weird or if other people are still AF free?

I do BF but I would think that by now AF would be back.

I haven't seen the return, but I am still BF, but weaning AND I am 40 - so who knows, maybe this late pregnancy has driven me right over the edge.

Even though I was EPing (7-8x a day) I still got AF around 8 weeks pp and have gotten it regularly ever since.

Still not yet. I BF an FF. My son recently started STTN, so I'm half expecting AF to show up soon...

I've heard the average time AF returns is around 14mo if you EBF. But, I also think it depends on how fast you ween, and if you continue to nurse at night/on weekends after you start cow's milk.

yeah i ebr also and have not seen AF for a looooong time! i'm lovin it, but at the same time, kind of anticipating it at some point so i feel like my body is back to normal. my midwife said that it's likely i won't get it until after i stop bf-ing, though...which is when we'll probably start trying for #2 :-)

got mine last month and I EBF. We went from nursing every 2-3 hours to every 4-5 hours in about a month's time and that's when it showed up. I also know that I just ovulated so I'm guessing it's going to be right on schedule this month....I was hoping to be irregular and skip a month or two before it came back but nope...

Yup just got mine yesterday. EBF, and I have an IUD. I emailed my NP just in case to see what she thought. We still nurse 5-6 times a day so I'm pretty surprised it's here. So far just some mild cramping, but I didn't have bad periods before.

No AF for me either yet, thankfully:-) I'm figuring its gonna be a doozy once it does start up again. Not looking forward to that.
