Help with Irish boy name to go with DS # 1

We are expecting DS # 2, and I am having a hard time with names:

DS #1 is Brendan

We had a few on our short list, which I still like, but not sure about them being too popular:

Liam

Declan

- we want it a traditional Irish name, but not like Ryan, Patrick, etc.

ETA: A few obvious Irish that are NMS - Seamus, Collin

If we were having a boy then Liam and Declan were both on our short list! DH has a cousin Declan, but otherwise I've never heard of it. It's DH's fav Irish name.

I like Declan best of the two, but I think they're both a bit matchy with Brendan. Have you considered Cormac, Finn (Finnegan), Connor, or Rowan?

Love Declan. It was on our list, along with Callum and Cormac. Also want to suggest Collin, I think it'd sound lovely with Brendan.

Also, want to throw out Sullivan, Griffin, Teague, Donovan, Kellen, Morgan, Cillian, Eamon, Kieran, Graham, Ronan.

Liam is nice, but seriously becoming the next Aidan.

Liam is popular. Declan is not. I know we see it on this board alot, but seriously, it is NOT a popular name in the general population.

Love the name Declan but if baby #2 is a boy we cant use it - not that we cant, but the thought of 2 boys named Devin and Declan sounds like a fairytale to me...that being said if baby #2 is a boy we are planning to use Lachlan. I really like Liam but its way too popular for us.

I always thought Liam was Hebrew? I know its Biblical...I was going to suggest Killian. I love it, but some people are turned off by it bc its the name os a beer...Brendan and Collin go well together - my cousins two sons are named that!

Not that I'm aware of. Liam is a NN for William.

Declan is one of my fave's but DH won't go for it. DS is Ryan Thomas and if this LO is a boy, he will be Connor. Other options Colin or Brady.

I love Declan. That was going to be DS's name, but it's a little too rhymey with our last name (like Weston). How I wish we could use it if we have another boy.
