Hello Ladies!
DS recently figured out how to sit-up in his crib...At night, we usually just drop him off in his crib, and he just falls asleep. Easy. Well now that he can sit himself up, he'll roll over and sit himself up -then cry because he doesn't know how to get back down. He'll do this a couple times before we finally rock him to sleep, and THEN put him in his crib,
We don't mind rocking him to sleep - just curious if others are dealing with this, and if there's something obvious we could be doing to stop it.
Re: Sitting up in crib
Isaac has been doing this for a while. Fortunately, in the middle of the night he just goes straight to sleep. But when we first start putting him down he'll do it once or twice every few nights.

Brody is now STANDING up!!!!! AAAHHH... We need to drop our crib down to the lowest level now! We're actually going to do that tonight.
Anyway....... I think they just need to teach themselves how to do it. I use to rock B to sleep every night....... Until about a month ago, he likes to have his time in his crib and watch his fishy and mobile and then go to sleep on his own. I'm glad he can fall asleep on his own, but I'm sad he doesn't want me to rock him anymore.....
Thanks Everyone!
I will definitely try working with him on "sit, stand, lay down, sit up" - I never thought of that!
AHHH! I'm scared for that!
