2nd Trimester

Any have different gender dreams after finding out sex?

The tech at my docs told me the baby was a boy (well 90%, we still didn't see scrotum, but was a very large and long protusion!). I have my AS on Thursday, so sure it will be confirmed at the end if LO is cooperating. Anyway, I had all baby boy dreams before that and now since I found out, have had two girl dreams. So bizarre. Actually last nights dream was horrible and morbid, and just want to block it from my mind:( Has anyone had any dreams of the opposite sex after finding out gender? Also any scary dreams? You don't have to give details or anything. Hope you are all having a happy Monday!

Re: Any have different gender dreams after finding out sex?

  • I find out my baby's gender tomorrow if baby cooperates. So far most of my dreams have been boy, but my last two dreams have been girl. IDK. I think it's a boy. Congratulations on your baby boy!

  • I had dreams of having a boy and I am having a little girl!
  • It's nuts, haha. Maybe since I am looking forward to the confirmation this week. I don't understand the scary dreams though. I am not afraid to be Mom so I do not get it, maybe I am subconsciously worried about being a great Mom, who knows. Basically, I was extremely neglectful in the dream, though. So strange!

  • We were told we're having a girl (and since there were very obviously NO boy parts I have to agree), but before & since all my dreams are about a boy. I still catch myself sometimes saying "he" because thats whats always in my head :-) Ive just started using her name instead lol.

  • I don?t know the gender yet but the other night I had a dream that my fiance woke up and said "I had a dream that we had our scan and it?s a girl" then he elbowed me in the face by mistake... weird dream
  • In my entire 1st trimester I had dreams of boys ... I had one girl dream - and the scariest part of that dream was her name ... apparently I didn't like it. LOL

Durring an ultrasound at 14wk+3d I was told by my ultrasound tech, who has 20 years experience, that she's fairly certain Im having a girl ... we are waiting to have it confirmed at our 18wk anatomy scan.

Since finding out that I am probably going to have a daughter - my baby dreams have stopped.
