My boys are at UAB as well.  I planned to deliver at St Vincent's but was admitted to UAB after an appt with the MFM here. 

We are still in NICU but have graduated to the nurse practitioner service today Smile  The only thing keeping the boys from moving to CCN is my itty bitty at 1lb7oz.  They want him to gain a little more weight before stepping down.

    Wow! We were there for 108 days! If you want any nursing suggestions for CCN I will be happy to recommend some! Our primary nurses upstairs were Amanda H, Tatiana,and Sarah N. We went to practitioner service and had Courtney and Sarah. I think Dr Toms is the attending this month?! I try and keep up and I had come for a visit 2 weeks ago. In the next 2 weeks we will be going to BHAM for a visit. Please let me know if I can bring you anything!

    Does Amanda have dark, curly hair? If so, we've met her but she works the same time as one of our favorites. I haven't met the other two you mentioned.
    Dr Toms is the day time attending this month. Dr Carlo is on at night. I really like both of them.
    Let me know when you and the girls are coming down again. We will be here :). We are still in RNI right now. There aren't any twin rooms in CCN and they want Hilyer to gain before moving downstairs.
    I'd love some recs for CCN nurses when we get down there. We had one on Friday that was filling in up here and she was horrible. I went to the charge nurse before lunch time to complain. Friday was a very long day.

    Oh Dr Carlo....we had a love hate relationship. lol. I will be more than happy to give you my care team list from CCN. Amanda has short hair but not curly or dark :/. Who have you had upstairs? There are a couple of nurses that I would advise you stay away from for sure. Are you on FB? My name is kinda obvious but I will PM you my full name and that may be easier than trying to track each other down here. Im sorry you had a long Friday :/ who filled in?

    We waited about a week for a twin room to open up but I didnt care at all. I was very comfortable in RNI and knew everyone!
