Spotting

I am freaking the F out.  I haven't spotted since Wednesday, not even after Friday's retrieval.  I know this "can" be a good thing, but I am a spotter and it is NEVER good. Plus I think it is too early for implantation.  It did happen after a bowel movement (TMI I know..sorry) and it was light pink and clear discharge. Should I call the on call nurse?  I am going in for a P4 check in the morning, but I am not meeting with my RE or nurse.  What should I do?  HELP!

Re: Spotting

  • Oh, Amanda.  Um, me, I have totally become "that woman" and would call.  If nothing, just to ease your mind. I'd think it would be early but still in range for implantation spotting?

Crap, DS just woke up from his nap.  I'm so crossing everything for you that it's nothing! Hopefully someone on here who is less of a worrier will ease your mind more!

    Love you!

  • I'd call.  I made a panicked call to my nurse when I spotted a few days after my first iui

I'd call.  Just for peace of mind - that's what they are paid for.

IMHO, the fact that it happened when it did (after pressure in the area) as opposed to free-flowing spotting, is the best scenario.  Fingers crossed for you lady.

  • Thanks ladies.  I called and my nurse was the one on call and she made me feel better. She said it was probably either leftover from transfer and came out b/c of the pushing (again, so sorry) or implantation.  My p4 check is tomorrow, so I will chat with my nurse about the results tomorrow afternoon and make any adjustments if needed.  Phew!

  • Coming late to this post but so glad you got some reassurance from your nurse!  When in doubt call em up (and like choirgirl I'm one of THOSE too!).
  • I'm so glad you called (I would have too) and she gave you some peace of mind.  My fingers and toes are crossed for you.  Keep us posted on anything you find out tomorrow.  Hugs!

This exactly!  Glad that your nurse put you at ease, I would be freaked out just as you were!  GL with your P4 test!
