February 2011 Moms

transitioned to crib/nursery last night!

And we lived to tell about it!!!!

We finally decided to bite the bullet and just give it a shot.  We put LO to sleep for an afternoon nap in his crib, he did so well and slept 5 hours!  It was actually longer then I wanted him to sleep during the day and we had to wake him up to feed him.  Then he went down again in the evening and last night.  It went so well.

Maybe too well actually, he's being super fussy in his crib today, but oh well.  I know it'll take a few days to make the switch.  I'm so glad we did it.

I still love the RnP but I think we're going to all sleep better this way.

I hope everyone is doing well. I'm curious how many others have already made the crib switch and how it went.

  • I'm not switching her to the crib until she sleeps more than 4 hours at a time. Currently its only about 3.5 hours at a time during the night, and I'm lazy.

I totally agree with you.  He's now going mostly 4 hours and sometimes longer.  I would have been way too exhausted to move him when he was still sleeping 2-3 hours at night.
