1. i'm eating bread w/ tj's bruschetta. first time having it, i've made it through 1/4 of the jar so far and going strong...
2. having ppl over for dinner tonight, have lisa's vegetarian bean curry in the slow cooker. smells yummy! and funny, i found it in my email (where i save recipes i want to try) twice - once from more recently, and once from may last year - probably also a rec from lisa at the time, since i made a note "can use slow cooker" hehe.
Re: yum.
I told ya it was delicious! YUMMY! Maybe I should pick up some bread on the way home b/c now I'm in the mood for it
mmmmm, I can't believe you haven't had it before!
I go through almost a whole jar in one sitting
that curry is delish too - did you like it? Miss A loves it even though it's kind of spicy... I think she's used to spicy BM so spicy food is just fine w/her! I made some ground beef for burritos the other night and accidentally added 2 TBSP instead of 2 tsp of chili powder and then got heavy handed w/the garlic chili paste and it ended up pretty spicy but she still liked it

I ran out of bread! must.buy.more. haha
and yes, the curry was *excellent*! loved it. we barely have any left over and i'm going to be making it again soon, i'm sure, since it's so easy to throw together in the slow cooker, and tastes awesome! we didn't have enough curry powder, so it wasn't super spicy, but still very tasty. i'm a wimp when it comes to spice anyway - i bet miss A likes spicier stuff than i do! hehe. it's great that she's such an adventurous eater

This made me laugh! Isn't it good?! It's one of my favorite slow cooker recipes, especially in cooler weather.
I know this is ridiculous b/c yall have definitely posted it before, but can someone post this recipe again! I know I have to have it somewhere, but I just can't find it!
actually, i didn't have time to go to the store and ended up completely butchering the recipe, just using what I had on hand. it would be an insult to say I even made it
and no, didn't have any basil, sigh. it was okay, but i want to try
the *actual* recipe next time!
here you go! only change I made was to use a 15oz can of kidney beans (and I just threw everything in the slow cooker on high for 4 hours - no precooking anything)
thank you! it looks so easy...definitely going to have to try this one soon!
