If you get Ovulation pains, come in please!

so Im having pretty severe cramping on my left side right by my pelvis which Im thrilled about assuming it is actual O pain. But when I hold my bladder for a while and then pee it gets more intense and then fades away again. Normal urination doesnt seem to bother it, only when I have a full bladder and then empty it. I JUST finished antibiotics for a bladder infection so I have a hard time believing it could be that, plus it hurts in a different area than my bladder did.
Just wondering if any of you have O pains and what all your symptoms are. Trying to not freak out and assume this is something it isnt.

Hello! I am sorry you are experiencing so much pain, however, it seems like it wouldn't be O pain but a UTI or type of infection.
While I get O pain, it is never intense, or how you describe it to be. From my experience on these boards, it sounds like something else. Others' thoughts?
Hello, and I am sorry you are experiencing so much pain and discomfort. It doesn't sounds like ovulation pain to me, but a UTI, or other kind of infection. If it continues, I would call your doctor.
While I do get O pains, they are never as intense as you describe, just a slight cramping on my right side for a few hours as best.

its not crippling or anything. More like intense menstrual cramps. I just never noticed it really before. Just weird that it gets worse after urination.
I do experience O pains. It is usually some cramping and then some sharp pain on which ever side I am Oing from. I haven't noticed anything different when it comes to a full bladder though.

Exactly this! I typically have to take tylenol the day I O for the cramps.

I just experienced this during my last cycle, and I was so sure it was O pain because it happened exactly when FF says I O'd. However, I did take a UTI test strip at home and it came back positive. I just got off of anitbiotics for it last week. I'd get checked out!
So I just got back from Urgent Care because I started running a low grade fever and was worried it was a severe UTI or something else. Doctor said I DID have some lukecytes in my urine but apparently not enough for him to prescribe me another round of antibiotics?? My fever has since gone down because I took Tylanol but the pain seems to have gotten worse. When the doc was pushing in different areas to see what was tender it was RIGHT over my left ovary he said. He said it didnt make sense for a UTI to cause pain in my ovary especially since I dont have any pain in my kidneys and the little bit of pain in my bladder seems to have steamed from the ovarian pain.
He sent my urine off to get a culture and sent me home with some pain killers...
I have a doctor friend who is an OBGYN and she says she thinks it could be both ovulation pain/ and or an ovarian cyst AND that my UTI didnt completely go away with my antibiotics and that the ovulation might have made it worse, hence the fever.
So basically I still have no idea what is going on with my body and it hurts a good bit:( Thanks everyone for your input. Too bad we seem to know as much as the docs do at this point. Ill go in to see my own doctor tomorrow.
