Third labor was NOT shorter than the second! I can't hold a candle to the one hour deliveries on this board!
BUT... McMillan Michael entered the world at 4:36 am... weighed 8 lbs 8 oz and is 21 inches long. My reward for what felt like a ridiculously long labor was pushing him out with 3 little pushes - 6 minutes and he was out. It was SUCH a relief because I was so, so tired and the idea of 45 minutes or more of pushing was really psyching me out. Anyway... I'll put all that in the birth story later.
So yeah... we chose to name him my grandmother's maiden name - extra special because today is my mom's birthday, which means my grandmother gave birth on this very same day 58 years ago I feel pretty sad she'll never get to know him, but I guess that's how it goes...
AND, he's nursing like a champ - came out rooting! Hopefully we can get some rest today because as of now, we've been awake for 26 hours!
Thanks again for all the happy thoughts and labor dust ladies! You're the best!

I'd been stalking the board like crazy, then I got a ton of company and haven't been back on since I posted asking if there was a Satreece baby! So excited. LOVE the name, and the sentimental significance.
