I'm curious I've seen a number of induction stories here but I'm curious how many were over due and how many were due to medical reasons. If you were induced would you mind telling why? [Poll]
After 2+ weeks of contractions that wouldn't intensify, my body had enough. My BP shot way up at 38 weeks, and I was induced at 39 weeks. I loved being induced and knowing when he was going to arrive. I hope to be induced again if there is a next time.
i was induced at 38 weeks, 4 days. my blood pressure was creeping up and other signs of pre-eclampsia. i did not want to be induced but i am glad i was because by the time i got to the hospital the day after my drs appt my test results (protein in urine, blood tests for liver enzymes etc) were getting really bad.
I was induced at 41w 1d because I was overdue. The day before I went for my last appointment and I still had zero dilation and my Dr said I was high risk at that point, but my induction was already scheduled for the next day so it was really no big deal.
