NT scan at Piedmont

I recently scheduled my NT scan for when I am 13 weeks pregnant. I'm having it done at the ultrasound center next to my doctor's office at Piedmont. I know it's one of those "no guarantee" things, but my best friend went there and found out the sex at 13 weeks (or at least it turns out the guess was right). I won't be painting the room blue or pink or anything, but if you used them, did they make a guess and was it correct for you?

My nurse refused to guess.

I "thought" I saw boy parts but then I also knew that I was very untrained so I didn't really tell people what I thought I saw. It was 14 weeks. BTW, I was right.

Yes, they were very sure my daughter was a "she" at 13 weeks

The u/s tech guessed G was a boy at 13 weeks. She guessed right.

We weren't at Piedmont, but at our NT scan at 12.5 weeks they guessed right. Didn't paint the room, but it was fun to see if they were right. Read up on the "angle of the dangle" at NT scans.

I love the peri there that did my NT scan (Dr. Mann)! I had my scan at 12w6d and they gave us gender predictions for both that were correct. Good luck!

With DD#1 they said girl at 13 weeks and they were right. They also said DD for #2 at 13 weeks, so we will see if they are right a second time in July!

apparently, it's hard for a non-trained person to tell because we're always looking for the stick or lack thereof. i think i remember they said they look for the scrotum or something. that's probably why they are more accurate.

Oh wow, I never expected so many people would have found out the correct sex so early! Now I'm really excited that they'll at least take a guess. Thanks, girls!

We got jipped, they wouldn't even guess for us at our NT scan. They said that it is really hard to tell that early so they don't like to guess and be wrong. I think it depends on who you get for the scan. Good luck!

We weren't at Peidmont, but Dr. Mann at Northside guessed mine at 12 weeks and she was right.

They guessed a boy with DS and they were right. I had the CVS a few days later. I have been there about 20 times all together, since both my pregnancies where high risk for different reasons. I really like that practice. I have been to both Piedmont and Northside and seen Dr Mann and Dr. Gonzolas (sp?) and another Dr. there.

Dr. Mann did my scan too and guessed girl! We will see if she was right in a few weeks.
