I was at Babies R' Us with DD. I just wanted to pick up some little things like some recieving blankets. I then hear a lady say under her breath but loud enough for me to hear, "Ugh, People like that shouldn't have kids". I look over and notice this biznatch and her mother staring and rolling their eyes at me. WTH!!!
It took me a second to realize exactly what they were talking about. I thought I looked nice today. A sleeveless dress shirt I got at motherhood yesterday in black and capri jeans. She was reffering to my tattoos is the only thing I can surmize. I don't look particularly "goth" today as I sometimes do but sheesh!
What kind of crap is that?! And what does what I look like have to do with how good of a mother I am.

I'm sorry. That wasn't very nice at all. Some people never heard, or at least weren't taught, not to judge a book by it's cover. Just because you have tattoos doesn't make you a bad person or a bad mother, or anything negative at all!
Some people are stuck in the old age and will never learn!
that sucks, people are so rude!
I definitely got a lot of comments when pregnant with DD and I still feel like I get stared at when I go to her school, just because I am younger than all the other parents. Oh well.
Don't let it get to you! You are obviously a better person than they are
When I walked by her I whispered "pendeja y hija de puta" and blew them both kisses.
I was just so floored at first. I am sorry my DD had to experience that, luckily she doesnt speak enough spanish to know what the lady had said.
Do people like this really exist in today's society?
You need to translate for us non-spanish speakers!!!
Basically "b!tch and daughter of a c$%t". It is really really bad to say those things in spanish.
Thanks! haha I knew it had to be something good! Good for you...I'm glad you did say something, in one way or another!
You sure told them lol
That's what they take for being rude (I usually won't agree with using profanity, but this pregnancy hormones had made me a bi... lately)

I usually don't post when others have already covered the ground I would, but I want to add another voice to the crowd: I'm very sorry that you had to experience that and good for you for knowing that they're full of sh!t.
Be yourself and show those tatoos with serious pride, momma
Oh, come on, why be angry? You should pity that fool, not be mad at her... I mean, it sucks to be her! She obviously has no life of her own, which is why she has to concentrate on strangers around her; she probably makes her kids miserable with her stupid prejudice and self-righteousness; and it is very likely that she is still oh so jealous because you looked so hot with your bump and your DD and your tattoos... I mean, it so got to her that she could resist but comment.
Sorry people like that still exist in this world! May you never come accross another one of those in your life (or that, if you ever do, they be so busy with the gerkins up their assses they don't even notice you).
All the best!
