*clicky poll* Help with a baby boy name!

My husband and I are still debating...he came up with Phoenix recently out of nowhere and says that the more that he thinks about it, the more he likes it. I'm not sure about it...what impression do you get when thinking of that name?

The middle name will be August after a great grandfather of DH, so there's no negotiating there.

His big sister is named Adelle.  :)

    Phoenix is actually one of my guilty pleasure names.  The first thing I think of is the city because I live here.  Jackson is nice but overused and I like Sawyer but not with Sealand.

    Can I just say that August ROCKS!!  I love your MN even if you did only decide on it because of family ties, it's a great name!!

    I voted August but Phoenix is one of my guilty pleasure names (for a girl though Embarrassed).

    Something about the flow of each of these names is off though. I think it's the repetitive "s" sounds in the fn, mn and ln.

    I think Jackson August sounds best, but I like Sawyer better with Adelle!
