I had my 39 week appointment with a different doctor because mine is out of town. After finishing my internal I was asked if I wanted to talk about induction now or wait until my appointment on Tuesday. I'm still 0 dilation. I really wanted to be a March Mom but neither the doctor I saw today or my normal Ob think that's in the cards... and to think, my original EDD was 3/24.

Don't give up now. They were giving me the "there's no hope" talk and it looked like it was going to be an induction, and then BAM! WATER! In your face! Not everything's predictable.

This. We were discussing induction cause I wasn't doing anything. My dd was 3/26. I now have a 2 week old. Alot can change fast.

you're not alone, my original due date was 3/23 but the first u/s said apr 4. doc thinks i might go early like a week b/c I'm already 1-2 and 80% and head is LOW. we'll see??!?!!

You never know what the next day will bring. I was at 1cm and not even fully effaced for weeks, and I went from that to 8cm in 2.5 hours lol. Even if you do have an april baby I think you should stay here with us on the March board.. we'll miss you if you leave us!

I have 5 days until my due date, and NO PROGRESS, yet again. I didn't care at the other exams, but yesterday was my last day of work, so to hear that, I had a meltdown. Oh well, they PROMISED they would not let me be pregnant forever!

My due date is Wed. I have an appt. on Monday. Last appt. I had no progress. I see an April baby as a real possibility!

I was due 3/23. My OB stripped my membranes for the third time yesterday and still no LO. She said if I'm still pregnant by Wednesday, she's going to induce. My LO has been dropped and in position for 3 weeks. I've been 3cm dilated for 3 weeks. I was told that he'd be early for the last 3 weeks as well. Now there is a good chance of him being an April baby.

I have nothing going on either, I was due yesterday. I am scheduled for April 1, the one day out of all 365 I never wanted and not my preferred doc in the practice either; but I slept so miserably last night I will take anything I can get.

If I am an April Mommy I won't leave March Moms. I'll just be one of the April outcasts Wink

I know a lot can change quickly but it was rough to hear. Especially since that was the first thing she said after the internal. I hopeful but not so optimistic. I am hoping it's not tonight. DH has snow plow duty from 7pm to 7am and he can't hear his phone over the plows... so either this baby better make up his/her mind and come this morning or wait until atleast tomorrow afternoon!

I was convinced that I was going to be an april mama from the begining when they gave me the late due date.... and my dr turned around and said Tuesday at the latest.... so anything is possible!!!! Don't give up.... baby will come when he/she is ready! Good luck! Thinking of you!

I am right there with you my due date is the 31st so it is highly likely that I will be an April Mommy...I haven't felt any real contractions, not even BH. My doctor hasn't even bothered to check me yet...he said on Monday they will do a NST and if there are contractions they will check me then. I have my fingers crossed baby will come by his due date, but its not looking that way!

I might be an April mom too. At my last appointment I was 1 cm and 50% effaced. I go back on Tuesday, hoping for some good news! But even if I deliver in April, I'll stay on the March board!

This is me too. My induction is scheduled for Tues/Wed and if it takes forever, this baby will most likely be born on April Fools Day. I see no chance of it happening on its own so I've just accepted it!

Hang in there! You never know what can happen. You can go from zero progress to full blown labor in a day... you just never know. Hope it happens for you soon!
