Oh karma...
In January I had posted on FB about needing advice for getting my 12 mo old to sleep. He was going through a phase (6 week phase) in which it would take 2 plus hours to get to sleep and would NOT fall asleep unless I was laying next to him in bed. I had tried various methods including a modified CIO, etc.
About 3 days later I had one "glorious" night in which DS fell asleep during our bedtime routine (rocking/nursing/book) "magically". So I had posted on FB something like, after our 6 week struggle it was such a relief tonight when Drew fell asleep while rocking him.
Well this friend from HS wrote me this long nasty post on how he's to old to rock to sleep and he should just be able to fall asleep in his crib and she never had to do that with her 2 year old etc
Yea I don't want to rock him to sleep everynight but it was nice to have ONE night of a non-2hr fight.
I was really irritated me because my son is a TERRIBLE sleeper and I was really struggling.
Well... this week she had her second baby, a little boy.
Her FB status currently reads:
Anyone experience a baby who only sleeps about 30 minutes at a time? Baby Girl was not like this. Help.

I took the high road and recommended the 5s's from Happiest Baby.
(Also our sleep issues have pretty much resolved too using Sleep Lady Shuffle)
