When did you get your first PP period? Were you BF? How long did it last?

I think I just had mine. I am still BF and DD isn't even 3 months old. But it just lasted 1 day and seems to have stopped. Wierd.

I was around 4-5 months pp. Yes, I was BF. I will say that my first one was just about as normal as those before pregnancy.

i had my first on her two month birthday. i was ticked off! and exclusively breastfeeding. lasted a week.

lol! i'm a little ticked off too. at least mine didn't last long though. unless it's just taking a break and plans to come back full force later.

I lucked out and didn't get my PP until DD turned 1 year old. I was still breastfeeding her. My PP was like my periods before I was pregnant and lasted about a week.

Mine came back at 6 weeks, and it was more or less like pre-PG AF. I was (am) breastfeeding with no supplementation, and back then I was still nursing her every 2-3 hours.

Still haven't gotten mine. We're bf'ing and we've been doing solids since 6 months. Although DD still nurses about every 3 hrs.

I got mine at exactly 5 months pp. I was still bfing, but it was the week he started solids.

I was 5 weeks PP and solely breastfeeding. It lasted about 5 days. I was pretty freaked about it, but the OB's office said sometimes women start earlier than others. I continued have it every month after (I BF my DD until she was 14 months old). They've been a bit heavier than before pregnancy.

MrsSavannah, if it doesn't continue, it may have just been a long instance of heavy spotting. That happened to me at a little over 7 weeks pp, I believe. I had stopped bleeding from the delivery at exactly 2 weeks, but had some light spotting at 4 and I think 6 weeks. Then at 7wks+ I had almost a full day of heavy, bright red period-like bleeding. But that was it, and nothing at all since then (I'm 16 weeks now). And I'm exclusively bf-ing.

Oh, I just remembered, when that happened to me at 7+ weeks, it was about 2 days after my pp pap exam, so I just chalked it up to that.

i just got my first one at 7.5 months PP and it was really light, then nothing until a month and a half later and that one was normal. I was really annoyed that mine took so long to come back because I want to get back on the TTC train. It took me night weaning DS to get it to come back.

I got mine four months after and like everyone else.. was not happy!!! I am exclusively BFing and for some reason believed that I wouldn't get one while BFing. Wrong. Second one came like clock work during the fifth month as well. Uggg...
