I wish people would think (vent)

I posted on my facebook that I had lost my baby. Just so that I wouldn't have to face people asking me how my pregnancy that no longer existed was going. I have an aunt that has made comments about me getting pregnant for the past year ask me yesterday:

How is the belly bump 

My response was:

I lost the baby yesterday morning. 

She followed up with this gem:

It happens I had that happen to me too. I did not know. things happen for a reason sometimes we don't understand it at the moment but it all pans out in the end! Love ya girlieee 

I just want to shake her. It would have taken you 2 *** seconds to look on my profile to see if there were any updates on my pregnancy before you ask me that stupid question.  I really wanted to make her feel bad and say something really dramatic. But I honestly didn't care enough about her to do it. I really hoped that telling her that I lost the baby would end the conversation.

    this. and i think she is awful, so sorry for you. I know she didn't want to hurt you but it might be a generational thing. when I first spotted my OWN MOM said, well if you miscarry you can always try again. She is just ignorant not spiteful. ps, she cried when i lost the baby.

    I know she didn't say it to be mean. It's just frustrating because she is the kind of person who also post comments saying "Baby?" or "Preggo?!" any time I post anything like I have a cold, or a headache(for the past year.) >_>
