Anyone use JCP or Sears for newborn pics?

Just curious if anyone has used either or both and has opinions? We were going to get pics done by a pro but the prices were ridiculous! We thought this would be a good way to get decent pics at a decent price. Thoughts?

    No answer for you but I was thinking of doing this as well. I'd like to hear other's experiences as well.
    June 2010 - IVM
    July 2, 2010- BFP Beta July 5th - 931 Repeat beta July 7th - 2,779
    July 13, 2010- First ultrasound! Gestational sac found!
    July 16, 2010 - 2nd u/s due to bleeding. Twins found! Baby A is great! Praying for Baby B!
    July 23, 2010 - 3rd u/s. Saw Baby A's flicker of a heartbeat! Lost Baby B. :-(
    March 16, 2011 - Nathan James was born
    November 26, 2012 - surprise BFP! It's a girl!
    July 26, 2013 - Lilianna Jean was born

    Thats probably the route we'll end up going too since we keep getting coupons in the mail for it and we can't afford a professional.

    I did my own newborn pics, but a friend of mine got hers done at Sears. When she got the pictures, they cut off the LO's head! She complained and got credit, pics redone, etc., but it was really frustrating for her. Now, she goes to Target for all of her baby pics.

    a friend of mine shopped around for cheap (but professional) NB photos and ended up at JCP.  They have since gotten 3-4 different shoots done since the NB ones and they all come out really cute!

    I was just wondering this too!! I got a thing in the mail for a  newborn package for $9.99 plus a free canvas pic. sounds like I might try it for that price!!!

    I am going to JCP or Sears for pics... HOWEVER!  You can only do that deal once.  I am not wasting in on my baby sleeping naked through it.  I am doing the coupon deal for 6 months so that we can do a family portrait and get some smiles and fun expressions.  My whole family told me not to waste money on newborn photos that I could basically take myself.

    I went to JCP, DH and I LOVE the pics... but how could we not right :) but seriously, we were quite impressed with some of the pic's they were able to get, LO was exactly one week old when we took her, and she did NOT want to cooperate LOL, it was kinda funny because when they were trying to get a pic of our (DH and I) hands holding Lily with a black background as soon as I extended her away from me, and she was in the position to take the picture Lily started crying, when I pulled her closer to me she stopped, extended her out, started crying LOL...

    The only negative thing I could say about the experience was that they were over booked... they were running about 45 min behind.... BUT when we saw the pics they were TOTALLY worth the wait
