When you are dieting

Do you feel like it's ok to have sugary foods, etc as long as you come in below your calorie goal or do you avoid crappy foods all together?

  • I totally go by calorie count.  This has allowed me to eat 2 weight watchers ice cream bars in one night while still dieting...and I stayed under 1200 calories!!!

  • the only time i ever "dieted" i ate basically almost no fat and whatever sugar wasn't from "junk food".  i lost 15 lbs in about a month just by eating insanely healthy.  and my cholesterol went from 230-something to 164.

  • calorie count and moderation is key for me if wanting treats.

    If I cut them out entirely, I'd blow it.   Like that night on WW years ago when I consumed 11 rice Krispie treats.  (still lost .5 that week surprisingly!)

  • Calories all the way. Otherwise I end up binging on the bad stuff.
