No it is not the same. Our DD weighs around 20 lbs or so. We use 1.2 ml for tylenol and 1.875 ml for motrin. Are you sure you are still on .8 ml of the tylenol? What is your DCs weight?

This you probably need to up his dosage of Tylenol as well. Just go every 3 hrs and do regular dosage,
.8 + .8 (1.6) for the tylenol in his weight, and the motrin in 1.875. If you are only doing one .8 of tylenol then it probably isnt doing anything, IMO.

he was 18 lbs, 4 oz yesterday at the doc's. no wonder the tylenol didn't do anything to help. geez! thanks, ladies. he's on the very low end for the higher motrin dosage, so i went between the 1.2 and the 1.8. it did help!

eek, no, they are 2 different meds. Make sure to check the weight ranges.
