Costume too tasteless?

DH and I are going to a halloween party tomorrow night. He's going as Sarah Palin and his outfit is hilarious. Usually we do combo costumes but I don't want to seem overly political so I think I need to do my own thing this year.

I have a devil costume...DH thinks I should be a devil and use fabric paint to write "Spawn of Satan" on my belly. Too tasteless?
