As in Sultenfuss, as in from the movie "My Girl". Thoughts? I like it because it's got all the same letters as Ava, a name I love but think is way too popular to name my child.

I think it's pretty, though it's not a "real name" strictly-speaking (I believe it was made up for the film). If you use it, I'd spell it as phonetically as possible, though I do like PP suggestion of Veda (it looks less like Vader, and it has the ancient Indian literary connection).
I think I most-prefer PP's suggestion of Ada, but this name is far from unheard of (thanks to the movie) and is a surprisingly underused movie-name.
I think it sounds like an old lady name.
I've always loved that name....and I love that movie even more!!
But someone is right, she may have to explain the pronounciation as she grows up, unless they are firmilar with the movie...
