any tips?? I think DD is ready, but I am terrified.

I am mostly scared of going out in public with her not in diapers! She is currently on an antibiotic for a double ear infection and as always, the antibiotic is messing with her digestive system. As soon as she is over this, I am going to stop using diapers. Any tips/advice are GREATLY appreciated. Any recommendations for a travel potty seat? Our bathroom is too small to have a potty chair so we currently have a small step stool and potty seat on our toilet. But I would like to have something for when we go out. TIA!
Re: those who have potty-trained
Ditto what teacherjess said. Also I wouldn't put her in underwear for going out in public until she is consistently staying dry at home. I didn't put Ava in underwear for going out in public right away... it was probably another month or so before I was brave enough to do that, but until we did we still used diapers for going out and it didn't seem to disturb the progress she was making at home. Once we did start going out in public with underwear on, it wasn't a race to get to the bathroom or anything. She was able to hold it for a few minutes if we couldn't get to it right away. In the car, we have a "piddle pad" (made by Kiddopotamus) in her car seat just in case but she's only had a couple of accidents ever, and I remember that one of them was only b/c we had a long car ride and she fell asleep.
